Connor McGregor issues first statement after release from jail

Connor McGregor has made his first statement since getting bailed from jail after he was arrested on Monday night. The UFC fighter was arrested after an incident with a fan outside an hotel.

Reports say Connor McGregor slammed a phone off the hand of a fan -Ahmed Abdirzak- who approached him to take pictures. After slamming the phone off his hand, he went ahead to stump on it several times.

According to the victim’s statement to the police, the phone is worth $1000.

Shortly after being jailed, Connor McGregor posted his bail in tune of $12,500 and was freed immediately.

Taking to social media to address the issue, he stated:

“Patience I’m this world is a virtue I continue to work on.

I love my fans dearly. Thank you all.”
